This is my poster for the October 18th, 2023 Wu Tang Clan concert in Seattle at the Climate Pledge Arena.
Poster is an 18" x 24" 4 color screen print on white paper.
The image is inspired from the lyrics "Buddha monks with the owls" and "I've got fat bags of skunk / I've got white owl blunts / and I'm about to go get lifted". White Owl brand cigars were used to make blunts, so a buddha monk with the (white) owls, was a person on the street selling weed. There's the central monk, the abbot of Shaolin, Rulahzigzagzigallah, surrounded by his 8 owls, who like killer bees with liquid sword tongues spit the wisdom of the owl, the zig zag zig......... bong bong.
